Just heard this week...

I'm on the kidney transplant list!  The representative said I'd be on the "fast-track list."  Don't know what that means but it sounds good.  But, my brother then said, "just another 10 years to wait until you're at the top of the list."  But the countdown started on my first day of dialysis, so I'm 2 years in already.
